This antique Victorian piece was originally meant to rest on the side of a claw foot tub to hold a sponge and soap for bathing. It is made of brass and has patina and verdigris from use. It could be polished if preferred. It could also be mounted on a wall in a bathroom next to a sink with the right hardware. The basket is slightly loose and disconnects at a couple of points, but will pop back into place. Condition is reflected in price.
